Grade 2

Welcome to second grade.  

In second grade we move from the building blocks used to learn to read to reading to learn.  Creative writing further develops as we explore the story elements.

Second graders explore science through a hands-on experience based program with much of our investigations done in our own Aiken Acres gardens.

We begin to learn about the world around us, both at home and abroad, through our studies of geography, the communities.
