Welcome from the KP Principal

Welcome to the King Philip Middle School web site!  I hope you find a variety of helpful information here to familiarize you with our dynamic school.

King Philip is an inclusive learning community of approximately 920 students and more than 95 faculty.  We educate sixth, seventh and eighth grade students, who are divided into eight academic teams to create smaller, more intimate learning communities.  The team organization at KP is designed to integrate students coming from six different West Hartford elementary schools and from other communities.  We at KP take pride in all of our students and utilize our team approach to create supportive learning environments for all.  Read More
